- Wilks' cars P1 and P2, thats cars up to 1947 • Re: Rover P2 12 gearboxThat’s certainly pre-war. The drawings in the 39/47 parts list are of the 1947 gearbox and freewheel unit. The RSR workshop manual gives details of the differences between the various versions of gearbox.HAD501
