The Lakes Rally 2022, Meeting up at Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, on the Saturday from 10.00am and either taking the steam train to Lakeside and maybe board the Windermere Boats to Ambleside/Bowness, or stick around the station to chat some Rover chat and enjoy lunch in the superb station café. At 2.00pm we convoy a short way to the Lakeland Motor Museum, which is a joy to behold with a vast collection of vehicles and memorabilia. Again the café is a great place to meet up and enjoy tea, coffee and excellent food and wonderful Cumbrian cakes and delicacies. It is a fabulous museum, very well laid out and a mine of facts and figures from our motoring past. On Sunday morning from 10.30am we meet at Levens Hall, a charming Elizabethan family home with amazing gardens and topiary. The Levens Kitchen is well worth a visit for lunch, the fare is vast and very delicious. This is an informal gathering with a picturesque setting for the full range of Rover cars. If you intend to attend the weekend event book somewhere to stay as early as you can as it gets very busy there.
