Rover 16 wanted 1936 - 1947

I have been fortunate enough to buy,and continue to own,several P1/P2 Rovers in the past few years and now I'm down to finding what should be the last one to complete my set. I'm looking for a long term owned 16, either a saloon or sports saloon but preferably with a leather interior.My wife tells me I'm not to buy any more "doer uppers" but a laid up car needing some recommissioning is o.k. and I'd like one as close to "as built" as possible. It must have a working or at least fixable freewheel, and sunroof, original registration, and not be white. If you have a well looked after vehicle you'd like to find a new good home for, perhaps you would make contact? I'm in South West Scotland but have bought from Kent, Wales, London and the Midlands so any UK location is good.I usually avoid buying from dealers,brokers and auctions as we all lose out and the previous owner usually has information or "bits" which are of value to a genuine enthusiast which I hope describes me.
