The Rover P4 110 was launched in 1960 and effectively replaced the earlier 90 model which had sold well from when it first appeared in 1953. The Rover 95 model used a 2625cc six cylinder engine which provided a top speed approaching 100mph despite only having a single carburettor. The Rover 95 was known as a powerful, robust saloon and as a testimony many are still on the road today as result. The P4 is often used for classic rallying and everyday use, underlining the fact these cars are very reliable and perfectly usable for long distances, like for like Rover’s build quality is by far the more superior than Jaguar’s, this is accepted by many knowledgeable people.
7766VB is an exceptionally original example presented in beautiful condition. Without doubt with some TLC the car is quite capable of winning awards. In fact in the past it has won awards. The bodywork and paint are of a very good standard and the original interior is superb. The underside can best be described as excellent
