This year we are returning to a traditional haunt, Warwick and are lucky to have been granted permission to use St Nicholas Park for our National Rally. St Nicholas Park has parking for the cars, and a children’s amusement park, refreshments and toilets, there are walks and a leisure centre on site. Warwick, with all its attractions is within walking distance. Look at St Nicholos Park on google maps The following classes of vehicles will be on display with trophies available in all of them, as well as other club trophies awarded on the day.

Class A – Rover vehicles 1904 to 1933 Class B – Rover vehicles 1934 to 1947 Class C – Rover P3 60 and 75, 1948 to 1949
Class D – Rover P4, 1949 to 1959 Class E – Rover P4, 1959 to 1964 Class F – Rover P5 3Litre, 1958 to 1967
Class G – Rover P5B 3.5, 1967 to 1973 Class H- Rover P6 2000 and 2200 Class I – Rover P6B 3500 and 3500S
Class J – Rover SD1 Class K – Rover Metro, 100, 200 and 25 Class L – Rover 400 and 45
Class M – Rover 600 and 800 Class N – Modern Rover 75 Class P – Land Rovers and Range Rovers
Class Q – Non Rover classics Class R – Rover Cycles and Motorcycles Class S – Marauders

We have reserved 30 rooms at the Holiday Inn, (formerly Courtyard Marriott, it has a large car park) in nearby Leamington Spa, for the weekend of 25-27 June 2010 at the reduced rate of £65 per room per night, including full English breakfast. Please reserve rooms direct with the hotel on 01926 425522 between 9am and 6pm Monday – Friday, as after that time, calls are automatically directed to a central reservations help desk who will not be aware of our arrangements and cannot apply discounts. To get the discounted rate, quote ROV and 25-27th June 2010. Please note that check in is from 2 pm, all rooms are non-smoking and that you will be responsible for settling your own accounts on departure. According to the hotel, once a guest has booked they can cancel up until 3 days prior to avoid charges. Our Saturday evening meal will be taken at the Holiday Inn and will cost £22 per head. The Menu will be:-

• Fan of Honeydew Melon served with seasonal berries
Main course (served with Potatoes and a selection of Seasonal Vegetables)
• Roasted Loin of Pork served with Dijon mustard & cider cream
Vegetarian option – Penne Pasta Tossed with Baby Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes & Two Cheese Cream
• Baked Vanilla Cheesecake with Exotic Fruit Coulis • Freshly Brewed Coffee with Mints

For those wanting to make a weekend of it, there will be road runs on Saturday, one ending in an informal gathering in the afternoon at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon, where concessionary rates will apply to admission. On another road run, there will be an opportunity to share a tea break stop with veteran single and twin cylinder Rover cars which will join us for the RSR National on Sunday. There is an admin charge of £2 per car for the road runs. You may want to visit Warwick Carnival, which will be at St Nicholas Park on Saturday or some of Warwick’s other attractions.
